Ernst Ludwig Ganzert began his career in 1991 at Heiss und Partner in Munich with the focus on media law and corporate law. From 1994 through 1996 he worked in the Berlin office of Haarmann Hemmelrath in the area of corporate law/mergers & acquisitions. During the years 1996 through 2001 Ernst Ludwig Ganzert headed the legal department of the UFA-group in Potsdam-Babelsberg, the largest German movie and television producer, where he was responsible for the holding company and all subsidiaries of the group. Since 2001 Ernst Ludwig Ganzert is managing director of the movie and television producer EIKON with its headquarters in Berlin and ten subsidiaries and investments in the most important media centers of Germany. EIKON produces movies, documentaries and children TV for the German and international market.
