Katja Hansen commenced her career as an associate with Hengeler Mueller in Düsseldorf. Before that, she assisted Professor Dr. Jan Busche at the Centre for Intellectual Property Law of University of Düsseldorf in mentoring the LL.M. Program "Intellectual Property Law". She has also gained some experience abroad, inter alia as an intern with Finers Solicitors in London (1999), Redeker Sellner Dahs & Widmaier in London (2001) and with Aresty International Law Offices in Boston (2003). She specializes in Internet and competition law.
She is a member the German Association for Intellectual Property and Copyright and of the German-British Lawyers` Association.
