Nina Leonard commenced her career as a lawyer in 2002 as associate with Hengeler Mueller in Düsseldorf. Before that, she assisted Professor Dr. Heinrich Dörner at the Institute for International Business Law of University of Münster. In 1998 and 1999 she worked as a private lecturer, preparing students for their first state exam in Civil Law.
In 2007, Nina Leonard held a series of lectures at China University for Political Science and Law (Beijing), European Research Centre, on European case law, focusing on corporate law. Before, she had already gained experience abroad in 2006, when she worked on secondment with Travers Smith in London, and in 2001/2002 as an intern with Baker & McKenzie in Chicago.
She specializes in corporate law and mergers & acquisitions. Since 2007, Nina Leonard is designated as "Specialized Commercial and Corporate Lawyer".
Nina Leonard is a member of the German Corporate Law Association (VGR).
